Syncrify is a file synchronization tool that can be used in multiple ways. Select a scenario from the list below matching closely to your end goal:
Scenario 1 Backup to a central location
This is the simplest form of using Syncrify. You designate one computer to hold backups for all of your other devices. You can access your files from any computer or mobile device.
as well as their mobile device.
Scenario 2 Synchronize files/folders between computers
Consider a scenario where you want to synchronize multiple folders residing on different devices
to synchronize their contents. If you add, modify or delete a file on one machine, this change should
reflect across every device.
Assume you need to push certain files/folders to laptops belonging to several remote employees in your
company. Every night these employees update their laptop from their home and pull files from
your corporate office. Their laptops are ready and updated with the appropriate content for work that day.
Scenario 4 Alternative to Google Drive, Dropbox and MS OneDrive
The SyncriBox feature in Syncrify can be used as an alternative to pure-cloud based services
like Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Box and other similar services. The difference
is that you create your own cloud with Syncrify
Share files belonging to one or more projects with multiple users. When one user modifies a file, that
change is automatically synchronized with other users on the same project.
Often users want to move files rather than copy them to another device. Syncrify allows you to
backup files to another computer then delete them from the source machine once they have been successfully moved
to the target machine.
Create snapshots of backed up data to public cloud, such as Amazon S3, Google Storage and Microsoft Azure.
Snapshots to public cloud add an extra layer of protection for your data.
