Installing Syncrify client on other OS

  • Open a browser and connect to Syncrify Server running on your end.
  • Click the button on the upper right hand corner that say Download Client

Running Syncrify Client without GUI

Most Linux machines run on a headless environment and do not have a GUI. Click here for instructions on how to run Syncrify Client using command line arguments.

Running as root

The background service on Linux runs under the root account. Therefore, it is recommended you run Syncrify Client under root as well. Failure to run under root could create the Data Folder under a different location. Refer to this troubleshooting tip for details.
