Syncrify Plugins

Plugins extend Syncrify's backup capability. Without plugins Syncrify can only copy normal file - files that already exist on the machine where Syncrify client is running prior to a backup. Plugins can run a custom program before and after a backup session. A good example of a plugin is for Microsoft SQL server backup. This plugin creates a local backup using SQL server's native backup and then copies that local backup file to a remote machine.

Accessing Plugin

Plugins comes bundled with Syncrify Professional. They are not available in the Personal edition of Syncrify. To invoke a plugin, select the top-most node in the tree view, click the right mouse button and select Plugins. See image below...
