Manual changes on Mac OS X

Starting from build 833 the web server embedded in Syncrify disables SSLv3, mitigating the newly discovered POODLE vulnerability. Unfortunately, one side effect of disabling SSLv3 resulted in a problem on Mac OS X. You must perform the following steps before downloading build 833.

The following steps assumes Syncrify server is installed in /Applications/ folder.

  • Using Finder locate /Applications/ Click the right mouse button and select Show Package Contents from the popup menu
  • Delete /Applications/ file
  • Modify /Applications/ and remove the following lines:

  • Save the Info.plist file
  • Download the update and patch Syncrify server to build 833
