Syncrify licensing and cost

Syncrify comes in two editions:

1. Syncrify Personal
2. Syncrify Professional

This is the free edition and can be used for non-commercial use and is limited to one user account.

Non-commercial use is defined as individuals using the product for personal use, such as someone using Syncrify to backup their home computer.

The free version is not licensed for use within for-profit businesses, government institutions (federal, state, local), educational institutions (including universities and state or local school systems), and any individuals using Syncrify on behalf of such entities or institutions.

Restrictions

Following restrictions apply when using the Personal edition.

• Only one user account can be created.
• This user account is limited to 5 profiles.
• Encryption is not allowed. * 
  
• Versioning is not allowed *

* Versioning and Encryption can be used for the first 30 days on trial basis. Once 30 days are over, you must upgrade to Professional edition if you decide to continue using these features.



The Professional version is available and licensed for use within for-profit businesses, government institutions (federal, state, local), educational institutions (including universities and state or local school systems), and any individuals using Syncrify on behalf of such entities or institutions.

Licensing is either based on per user or per client-machine. A single user based license costs $49.00 (USD). A single client-machine based license cost $245.00. For every 5 license you purchase, you get one for free.
