Your installation of SynaMan often needs to connect to our main web server. This happens when:
  • Software updates are needed to be downloaded
  • You use the discovery service
In either case, your installation will connect to our main web server. No file or any personal information is ever sent during this communication.

Therefore, it is important that outbound HTTP traffic is not blocked from the machine where SynaMan is installed.
