Displaying Terms of service to users in SynaMan

Often companies want to display a "Terms of Service" (TOS) page when a user logs in for the first time. Use the following steps to enable this feature:

• Log in as the administrator
• Click Configuration
• Click Advanced Configuration
• Select the tab for Additional Parameters
• Scroll toward the end of the page and check the box for Show Terms of Service
• Save

Customing TOS

A generic TOS statement is downloaded from Synametrics' website by default. This generic version is saved in the $INSTALL_DIR\config\User-TOS.htm file on the machine where SynaMan is installed. $INSTALL_DIR refers to the installation folder. Overwrite this file to customize the contents.
