Content-Security-Policy Header in SynaMan

The Content-Security-Policy response header restricts the URLs where images, CSS, and Javascript can be loaded from. Although this is an important header, SynaMan does not add it by default because when using the Total Branding feature, companies may decide to load images and style sheets from their corporate website. This page offers two methods for adding this feature to your SynaMan instance.

Method 1 - Enabling the default settings

Use this method if you're not using Total Branding with resources that load from your corporate website

  • Add the following line in server.properties file:
    use.content.security.policy.self=true
  • Save the file
  • Restart SynaMan

Method 2 - Custom value for this header

Method 2 - Custom value for this header

Use this method if you're using Total Branding with resources that load from your corporate website

  • Refer to this page that talks about adding any header you like to the HTTP response
  • Remember to specify the URLs for every server where resources are loaded from
