Accelerated File Transfers

In addition to HTTP(S), SynaMan offers a custom file transfer protocol, which offers several benefits over HTTP(S):

• Faster speed
• Built-in encryption
• Built-in compression
• Ability to resume failed transfers

Since this is a custom protocol, you must use the SynaMan Desktop App when transferring files.

Firewall Configuration

In addition to the HTTP and HTTPS, you must open an additional port for TCP and UPD. The default value for this port is 21000. The SynaMan Desktop App will use the standard HTTP or HTTPS port if your firewall blocks this port.
