Introducing Xeams 7.6

Xeams is a secure and powerful complete mail server for Windows, Linux, Solaris, MacOSX and other flavors of UNIX that supports SMTP, POP3, and IMAP. It features a powerful spam filtering engine that eliminates up to 99% of junk email upon installation. Synametrics Technologies is proud to present Xeams Version 7.5. The latest update features the ability to send outbound emails through slaves in a clustered environment. This is beneficial for users who have more than one Xeams installed to filter junk messages. This feature allows administrators to change a rule on MASTER instance and let it automatically propagate to the SLAVES. Additionally, users are able to limit outbound emails once an hourly quota reaches. The newest build also includes a special header called X-SMForgedSender for when the sender is forged. Along with this, messages having a forged sender are marked as Inbound rather than Internal. Xeams version 7.6 includes a variety of bug fixes including searching messages with their ID does not work with older messages. will also allow for users to enjoy enhanced temporary email capabilities.

In addition to the features mentioned above, other notable enhancements include:

• Ability to specify key size for DKIM, allowing smaller public keys for DNS servers that do not accept larger values. This is done by adding xeams.dkim.key.size=1024 to server.properties.
• Bug Fix: Searching messages with their ID does not work with older messages.
• Bug Fix: Incoming email runs into an error if the message is received from an IP where SPF does not apply
• Bug Fix: POP3 connection does not work with Apple Mail on a MAC.
