Downloading ODBC Drivers

ODBC drivers must be downloaded from our website before using them in WinSQL. Although WinSQL is programmed to downloaded these drivers automatically, you may run into problems if firewalls are configured to block the traffic.

Use the following step to manually download these drivers.

• Exit WinSQL
• Click here to download the file.
• Extract the downloaded file in %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\WinSQL\Drivers64. By default, this location points to C:\ProgramData\WinSQL\Drivers64. If you're not sure about the exact path, type:

  echo %ALLUSERSPROFILE%

  in a Command Prompt.
• Restart WinSQL and click Register ODBC Drivers under the Help menu.
