Let's Encrypt with Xeams!
Secure Sockets Layer, more commonly known as SSL is a key system that authenticates, secures, and encrypts websites by installing a valid SSL certificate to a web server. SSL certificates help create a secure connection by using the HTTPS protocol between servers and clients in order to protect any sensitive information that occurs when a user is browsing a website. In addition to websites, it provides email encryption to softwares, and email attachments.?
Consider a scenario where a person is purchasing an item from a website and having it shipped to their home. If the website has a valid SSL certificate, the information the user shares on that site such as, log in credentials, address, and credit card details are protected by the public and private keys the SSL certificate uses to encrypt and decrypt their personal information.

Most certificate instructions require you to run command line programs that are not user friendly. With Let's Encrypt and Xeams, simply log into Xeams' Admin Console, with a few simple mouse clicks and domain and hostname verification you will be issued an SSL certificate for your email server.

Typically, emails are sent in plain text. As previously mentioned SSL uses a set of public and private keys to encrypt and decrypt sensitive information. By installing an SSL certificate on your email server, emails are carried sent out and encrypted with a public key. Once they reach their destination, they are decrypted with a private key.Prevents Man in the Middle Attacks
